Suncheon First College, together with faculties,
students, local residents and workers, established
'Che-il vision 21' and have pushed forward
with it. The goals of 'Che-il vision 21' are
Realization of practical education for 21
C knowledge based society, Realization of
vocational education through cooperation with
industries, Improvement of facilities and
environments of education and Development
of college to serve the local community. The
3 stage plans have been carried out in order
to achieve the goals.
The first stage is to establish the foundation
of development for 2 years from 1999 to 2000.
During that time, library, the 5th building
for lecture & practice and little theater
have been constructed.
The second stage is to establish the infrastructure
for advanced education system for 4 years
from 2001 to 2005 with the goal of entering
into top 10 universities in Korea. During
that period, it is planned to establish venture
enterprise support center within the campus
and operate professor responsible lecture
system for cultivation of excellent professional
graduates.
The third stage is to execute 21C digital
information oriented knowledge education for
5 years from 2006 to 2010 with a goal of entering
into top 5 universities. During this stage,
high tech intelligent campus system will be
set up and the highest level of internet education
will be achieved.
Successful accomplishment of 'Che-il vision
21' makes Suncheon First College one of the
most competitive colleges in the east area
of Jeon Nam province. Suncheon First College
will play a major role as a promising college
for the sake of nation and people. |
